Thanks for taking the time to browse through my work. It should come as no surprise to you that scenes of interior spaces are my favorite. Somewhere along the way, I decided to paint a staircase, and was very pleased with the positive comments I received. Scenes of staircases, I've found, tend to remind folks of their childhood. They bring back memories of special times. They bring out stories from the past. One woman I met correctly identified one of my staircases as being from her grandma's house where she had visited as a child. I've painted several staircases through the years, and look forward to painting many more. Sometimes people can't remember my name, and I've been told that I'm sometimes referred to as The Stairway Guy. That's fine with me.
